Mr Dominic Nielsen

Mr Dominic Nielsen (FRCS Tr. and Orth.) graduated from St Georges Hospital London, and undertook his Orthopaedic training in South East England. To complement his general orthopaedic training, he has 18 months specialist training in foot and ankle surgery and also spent 2 years in a centre for complex trauma and limb reconstruction.

He is a Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon at St George's Hospital, London with special interests in foot and ankle surgery and complex trauma reconstruction.
Dominic is an examiner for Medical School Finals examinations, and regularly teaches at national education meetings. He has been instrumental over the last few years in improving junior doctor training along with the introduction of physicians assistants to the trust.

He has written papers on a range of trauma and foot and ankle subjects including clavicle fractures, hip fractures, major injuries, Achilles tendon problems and has presented his work both nationally and internationally.

Mr Paul Hamilton

Paul Hamilton

Mr Paul Hamilton is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in all adult foot and ankle surgery and trauma surgery.

Paul qualified from St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital Medical College and went on to complete his orthopaedic training in London. During this period he completed a sports foot and ankle fellowship at Basingstoke General Hospital and a further foot and ankle fellowship at Guys and St Thomas'. He has undertaken a travelling fellowship to Boston, USA. Having completed his training he went on to Addenbrooke's Hospital Cambridge for a further year of specialist training in trauma, foot and ankle surgery.

He has presented and published research in orthopaedics throughout the world.
He currently examines on the MSc in trauma and orthopaedics at Brighton University and teaches on several FRCS (Tr and Orth) courses.

Paul is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Epsom and St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust with a specialist in foot and ankle surgery including sports injuries, arthroscopy, degenerate and inflammatory conditions.

Miss Andrea H Sott

Andrea Sott

After graduating from medical school in Germany Miss Sott subsequently completed 10 years of basic and higher Surgical OrthopaedicTraining in London on the SW Thames Training Programme.

She is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England , the British Orthopaedic Association, the British and American Foot and Ankle Surgery Society with entry into the GMC's Specialist register as fully trained and specially qualified Orthopaedic and Trauma Surgeon in 2004. She has published several papers in her field and outcomes of her F&A work has been presented at BOA and BOFAS as well as EFORT Meetings.

In 2004 Miss Sott joined Epsom & St Helier University Hospital NHS Trust as a Consultant Surgeon for Trauma, general Orthopaedics and Foot/Ankle Surgery. She is an active and enthusiastic Trainer for Juniors and Allied Professionals as well as an Senior Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons / London.

Her special interest into Foot and Ankle Surgery and Trauma was developed further through Fellowships in Germany and the USA and clinical visits to France, Switzerland and around the U.K. to learn special surgical techniques.

Following specialty training in 2011 Miss Sott has been using as well as published on Minimally Invasive Techniques to treat Foot & Ankle conditions.

Mr Palanisamy Ramesh

Palanisamy Ramesh

Pal Ramesh was appointed as a consultant Orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in Foot and Ankle surgery at Kingston Hospital, Kingston upon Thames in August 2005.

Mr Ramesh underwent his higher surgical training in Orthopaedic surgery in the South East Thames region including Guy's & St Thomas' hospitals in London and completed a fellowship in Preston / Chorley hospitals. He was entered on to the Specialist register for Orthopaedic surgery in 2005.

His areas of expertise are all Foot and Ankle disorders, arthroscopy of the ankle and sports injuries.

Mr Pal Ramesh was awarded the prestigious American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society's (AOFAS) international travelling fellowship in 2007 and DePuy travelling fellowship in 2006 .This allowed him to visit and train with a number of Foot & Ankle surgeons within North America including Columbus, Galveston, Houston, Minnesota, Toronto, Rochester, Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Baltimore. Ramesh is actively involved in clinical research and academic development and has presented at Orthopaedic conferences both nationally and internationally. The last paper presentation in American Academy of Orthopaedic surgeons was in 2011 and recent American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society (2013).

Mr Ramesh is a member of British Orthopaedic association, BOFAS, AOFAS and IOA.

Mr Ian Gill

IGill

Mr Ian Gill is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon with a specialist interest in all adult foot and ankle problems. Ian qualified from St Georges Hospital Medical School and went on to complete his orthopaedic training in the South West Thames region. To complement his general orthopaedic training, he has 24 months specialist training in foot and Ankle surgery including Fellowships in Sydney (Australia) and Cape Town (South Africa). He was entered on to the Specialist register for Orthopaedic surgery in 2013.

Since July 2013 Ian has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Kingston Hospital NHS Trust with a specialist interest in foot and ankle surgery including sports injuries, arthroscopy, diabetic foot problems, degenerate and inflammatory conditions. He is a member of British Orthopaedic association and British orthopaedic Foot and Ankle society.
